How to activate the FlashPack™ for Instant Heat:

• Hold the FlashPack™ in one hand.
• With your other hand press the middle of the metal disk inside the FlashPack™ until it clicks.
• The contents of the FlashPack™ will start to turn solid white when it is activated.
• Once completely solid white, squeeze the FlashPack™ to make it soft and flexible.
• FlashPack™ is ready for use!

How do you Re-Use the FlashPack™?

• Using a pot which will allow you to submerge most or all of the FlashPack™, bring water to a slow-medium boil. Place a thin cloth in the bottom of the pot.
• Place the FlashPack™ in the boiling water until the contents return to a clear liquid form. This typically takes between 10-15 minutes. If after 10-15 minutes there are still some solid particles in the FlashPack™ or if it becomes hard, boil it for a few minutes longer.
• Once the FlashPack™ has returned to a clear liquid form remove from the boiling water and allow it to cool.
• When the FlashPack™ has cooled completely (1-2 hours) it is ready for re-use!

Is the FlashPack™ safe to use?

• Yes, the FlashPack™ is completely safe. It contains a non-toxic, food grade salt solution (sodium acetate), water and a small stainless steel disc. The FlashPack™ heats up to a comfortable, constant 50 degrees C. / 122 F. (approximately) and will never get too hot.

How long does the FlashPack™ stay warm?

• The heat duration of the FlashPack™ depends on its size and if it is insulated. The larger the FlashPack™ the longer it will radiate heat. Also, the better the insulation (I.e. cover, glove, inside of a pocket, etc.) around the FlashPack™ the longer the duration of the heat.

Typical Heat Duration:

• Glove FlashPack™– 20-30 minutes inside gloves
• Hand / Pocket FlashPack™– 45-60 minutes inside pocket
• Back & Body FlashPack™– 60-90 minutes
